David Crossley
I moved to the village in 2014 with my wife, Michaela and we later started a family and welcomed our son to the world.
We really like where we live and wanted to put something back in the community, so I became a member of the Tankersley Community Association committee. This is a great bunch of people who give a lot of the personal time to manage the great facilities at the Hub and organise events for the wider community. I am an active member of the committee and like to get involved and improve things wherever possible, this is time consuming and tough at times, but very rewarding!
One of my main responsibilities on the committee is organising the annual hanging baskets we have every summer for everyone to enjoy.
