Bowling Green (Community Green)
Tankersley Community Association are excited to announce a new element to Tankersley Hub – The Community Green
Following the recent granting of a licence by Barnsley MBC confirming Tankersley Community Association’s authority to manage the former bowling green for community benefit, we now intend embarking on a programme of improvement and development.
To raise The Community Green to the high standards of the Welfare Hall we will be undertaking some work during the next 6 weeks to enable us to take advantage of the remaining good weather and now invite residents to join us in forming a Community Task Force to undertake some jobs. Initially, will be looking at basic renovations involving joinery, painting, general tidying, weeding and planting.
