Everyone will be well aware of the increase in the cost of living. The upkeep of Tankersley Hub (Welfare Hall) is certainly not exempt from this. The management committee is mindful of their responsibility to provide an affordable community resource and also ensure sufficient financial reserves to support future improvements and safeguard against unexpected expenditure.
Reluctantly, it has been decided to increase the hire costs with effect from 1st July 2022 by £1.00 per hour. Existing bookings will be honoured at the old rate with any new bookings after 1st July subject to the new charges.
This represents the first increase in charges for approximately 6 years.
