Services – There will be a Service at Tankersley St. Peter’s Church this Sunday at 09.30.  No Service at St. Paul’s, Pilley this week.

Age UK – Healthy Living – continues on Wednesdays at 1000 hours in The Hub.

Tankersley Community Association – The afternoon teas continue at 1300 hours on Tuesdays.

Coffee with a Councillor – Councillor Alex Burnett invites resident for an informal chat over a free cup of coffee on Saturday 14th October in The Conservatory at Tankersley Hub between 0930 and 1130am.  This is your opportunity to raise issues of concern or make suggestions.

The Halloween Party for children and families arranged for Sunday 29th October is now sold out.

Tankersley St. Peter’s School – Pupils have written to MP Miriam Cates expressing concern at road safety and parking around the school.  They also recommend imposing a 20mph speed limit around the school and installing pelican crossings at appropriate points.

The Annual Bonfire and Firework Display have been confirmed for Saturday 4th November.  Volunteers are invited for wood collection and bonfire building.  More details will follow.

Tankersley Senior Citizens Group – invite new members.  Activities include a variety of social events and excursions.  Anyone interested should contact Brian Marsden on 01226 746306 or 07947430259

The Hub Tuck Shop will be open on 1300 and 1600 hours on weekends – weather permitting.  Tea, coffee, soft drinks, ice creams and confectionary are all available whilst visiting Pilley Pocket Park.
