Services – There will be a service at Tankersley St. Peter’s this Sunday at 0930.  Pilley St. Paul’s is closed until further notice.

Age UK – Healthy Living – continues on Wednesdays at 1000 hours in The Hub.

Tankersley Community Association – The afternoon teas continue at 1300 hours on Tuesdays.

Childrens Christmas Parties sponsored by Tankersley Parish Council will be held in The Hub on Saturday 2nd December;  Contact clerk@tankersleypc.org for more details on how to book a place.

Christingle – On Sunday 3rd December. Children and parents invited to take part in this traditional event. Commences at 5.00 pm.  Admission free.

Carols By Candlelight – Tuesday 5th December commencing at 7.15 pm. Tickets available from Joy on 01226 745522.

The Spirit of Christmas Annual Concert featuring Barnsley Brass and Tankersley St. Peter’s School Brass Group is arranged for Saturday 16th December in Tankersley Hub. Tickets are now available from Joy on 01226 745522 or Judith on 07989484050

Tankersley Senior Citizens Group – invite new members.  Activities include a variety of social events and excursions.  Anyone interested should contact Brian Marsden on 01226 746306 or 07947430259

Tankersley St. Peter’s School have been very busy having recently taken part in the Pokemon School’s cup where both the boys’ team and the girls’ team were successful reaching the Barnsley finals. The girls’ team made it through to the regional finals where they will be competing against teams from across the county.  Both the boys and girls teams wore new sports shirts kindly donated by Tankersley Community Association.

The Hub Tuck Shop is now closed for the winter season but will be opened on special occasions if weather permits.
