Services – There will be a service of Remembrance at Tankersley St. Peter’s this Sunday at 0930.  Wreaths will be laid and the Last Post sounded.  There will not be a Service at Pilley St. Paul’s this week.

Age UK – Healthy Living – continues on Wednesdays at 1000 hours in The Hub.

Tankersley Community Association – The afternoon teas continue at 1300 hours on Tuesdays.

What’s on at The Hub: –

Christmas Market by Polkadot on Sunday 19th November.

Whist Drive – Thursday 23rd November – 1330 hours.  Everyone welcome.

St. Peter’s Church Christmas Fair on Saturday 25th November – 1100 while 1300.  Gifts and hot turkey sandwiches.

Northern Soul and Motown Disco Night is arranged for Saturday 25th November – tickets are selling fast and are now available from any TCA member or from John on 07980200365. This promises to be a great fun-filled night of good music and dancing!

Tankersley Parish Council – the next meeting will be held in The Hub at 1900 hours on Monday 20th November.

The Annual Bonfire and Firework Display were sadly cancelled due to weather and ground conditions.  It is hoped to hold an alternative event in the near future.

Tankersley Senior Citizens Group – invite new members.  Activities include a variety of social events and excursions.  Anyone interested should contact Brian Marsden on 01226 746306 or 07947430259

The Hub Tuck Shop is now closed for the winter season but will be opened on special occasions if weather permits.
